Harry P. Corwin
Dies at C. Falls

Cedar Falls—After being in failing health for several months from a heart ailment, Harry P. Corwin, 69, died at his home here at 1309 College Street at 6:45 Saturday evening.

He leaves his widow and five sons: John L. Corwin, Waverly: Earl V. Corwin, 124 East Main Street, and Lawrence W. Corwin, 1710 Schreiber Avenue, both of Cedar Falls; Corp. Roger J. Corwin. serving in the army air corps. Hillfield, Ogden, Utah, and Pvt. Donald M. Corwin, attending advanced technical school, at Buffalo, N. Y.. and two daughters, Mrs. Audtin [Austin?] Phelps, 311 Iowa Street, Waterloo, and Mrs. Joe Kreger, Waverly; one sister, Mrs. Anton Mortonsen, Hudson, and five grandchildren.

HARRY CORWIN RITES AT CEDAR FALLS TO BE HELD WEDNESDAY

Cedar Falls - Funeral services for Henry Piersol Corwin, 69, who died Saturday night at his home, 1309 College Street, of a heart ailment, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Brown Funeral Home. Rev. S. J. Mauer, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Bernard* Cemetery.

Mr. Corwin was born July 22, 1873**, in Butler County, the son of Lucas and Rebecca Corwin. He married Minne Maggie Engleman Dec. 22, 1896, at Cedar Falls, and farmed in Black Hawk and Bremer Counties until moving here six years ago.
