Cedar Falls, Ia.—Chris Hansen, 81, died Friday at 9:50 p.m. at the home of his niece, Mrs Niels Olson, 503 Lincoln street Mr. Hansen suffered a stroke Friday and never rallied.

Chris Hansen was born April 20, 1852, in Denmark, and came to this country at the age of 18 He formerly lived at Independence and at Marcus, la. His wife died 20 years ago. For the last 15 years Mr. Hansen had made his home with his nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Niels Olsen.

Surviving, besides Mrs. Olsen, Is another niece, Miss Amelia Hansen, Santa Ana, Cal.

Four children preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3 p. m. at Brown chapel. The body will be taken overland to Marcus, where services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Danish Lutheran Church. Interment will be at the Marcus Cemetery.
