WATERLOO - Elsie Kehe, 95, of Waterloo, died at NorthCrest Specialty Care Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, of natural causes.

She was born June 27, 1918, in Black Hawk County, daughter of Henry and Sophia Schumacher Kehe. She worked in the laundry department at Allen Memorial Hospital, retiring after 39 1/2 years.

Survived by two sisters, Elvira Hebell of Denver and Darlene Mastain of Waterloo; and a sister-in-law Joyce Kehe of Readlyn.

Preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Kehe; a sister, Bernice Zingg; and two brothers-in-law, John Zingg and Everett Hebell.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Denver.

Memorials may be directed to Care Initiatives or charity of donor's choice.
