CEDAR FALLS - Bernice Mae Morgensen, 90, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, June 30, 2006, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 7, 1915, in Plymouth, daughter of James J. and Dola Butts Flynn. She married Harold B. Morgensen on Aug. 23, 1939, in Waterloo. He died Dec. 16, 1982.

Mrs. Morgensen was a graduate of Iowa State Teachers College (UNI) and was a home economics teacher. She was a long-time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Emma Morgensen of Cedar Falls; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and several cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Wednesday at the Lutheran Home. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements,

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Falls Lutheran Home or Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, in lieu of flowers.
