EVANSDALE - Virginia Ann Back, 55, of Evansdale, died at home Friday, June 30, 2006, of Pick's disease.

She was born Oct. 29, 1950, in Waterloo, daughter of Ernie and Irene Elliot Brown. She married Jim Back on May 23, 1975.

Mrs. Back was a 1969 graduate of Waterloo East High School. She then joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Bainbridge, Md., and London.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Melinda (Brian) Oklok and Erika Back, both of Jacksonville, Fla., and Andrea (Matt) Schaefer of Waterloo; two grandchildren; a sister, Angie of Waterloo; and a brother, Jerry Brown of Evansdale.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation 5 to 7 p.m. today at the chapel.
