WATERLOO - Ruth Reynolds, 98, of Raleigh, N.C., formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at Springmoor Retirement Community, Raleigh.

She was born Nov. 2, 1907, in Norwalk, daughter of Samuel F. and Laura Tilton Bertrand. He married Robert S. Reynolds on July 7, 1934, in Waterloo. He died Sept. 5, 1994.

Survivors include a son, Samuel (Susan) of Raleigh; a grandson and a great-granddaughter.

Preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Graveside services: 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 11 a.m. until services Saturday at Locke Funeral Home.
