WATERLOO - Patricia R. Sauerbrei, 60, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home following a lengthy illness.

She was born March 17, 1953, in Rugby, N.D., daughter of Virginia Hager. She married William "Bill" Sauerbrei on June 9, 1973, in Waterloo.

A graduate of Waterloo East High School, Mrs. Sauerbrei worked for Hancock Fabrics as the daytime supervisor for 25 years.

Survived by two daughters, Amy (Shane) Kelly of Norfolk, Va., and Alissa (Josh) Birr of Marion; and a granddaughter, Eden of Marion.

Preceded in death by a sister, Janice Hager; and two special family members, Bud and Abbie.

Private Celebration of Life: will be held in the spring. At the request of the deceased, her body has been cremated. Arrangements my Locke Funeral Home Inc.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or charity of donor's choice.
