Lyle Dixon, 22, 137 French Street died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in a Waterloo hospital, of leakage of the heart, and complications. He had been seriously ill since July.

Mr. Dixon was born Jan. 23, 1910 at Letts, Ia., where he lived with his parents until he was 2 years old. He had been a resident of Waterloo for seven years.

On Feb. 3, 1932, he married Miss Gertrude Stroebel, at Galena, Ill. Mr. Dixon was baptized in the Church of Christ at Creston. Ia.

Surviving besides his widow are his step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John Lundberg, 137 French Street.

The body was taken to the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home by Rev. E. E. Mounsey, rector of Christ Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
