Voyle Vincent Shepard, 38, 91 Lane Street, died at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday at his home, of carcinoma, attributed indirectly to an injury he received June 14, while delivering, milk.

Shepard had been employed for many years as a driver for the Sanitary Dairy, and its successor, the Carnation Company. Shepard suffered a serious groin injury when an ice box door swung against, him, it was said. Shortly afterward he underwent an operation at a Waterloo hospital. His. condition grew worse and he was taken. Sept. 13 to Iowa City for examination at University hospital.

He was born March 14, 1894, at Mt. Pulaski, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Shepard. He married Miss Maesel Constance Gross, of La Porte City, Ia., in Illinois about three years ago.

Deceased was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.

Surviving besides his widow are two sisters, Mrs. Della Stanley, New York, a twin, and Mrs. Vera Warren, Bloomfield, Neb., and two brothers, Wade, Trenton, N. J., and Frank, Springfield, Ill.

Arrangements for services await the arrival of Mrs. Stanley. The body was taken to the Kearns Funeral Home.
