A number of relatives from out of the city, who came to Waterloo to attend the funeral Thursday of Mrs. Charles Calkins, 60. who died Tuesday at Canton, Ill., returned to their homes Thursday night. They included two brothers, Frank James Hayes, Davenport, and Mike H. Hayes. Dubuque, and their wives: a cousin. Mrs. Frank Cornelisen. Dubuque, and a brother-in-law. Frank Calkins. Freeport. Ill., accompanied by his son. Henry, and daughter, Edith.

A son, Charles, jr.. Canton. Ill., at whose home she died, and Mrs. Charles Calkins, jr.. expected to remain until Friday night or Saturday.

Services were held at 9 a. m. Thursday at St. Joseph's, Catholic church, with Rev. Fr. Edmond Slattery, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
