Funeral services for Jacob Weissman, 70, will be at 10:30 a, m. Wednesday at the Parrott & Wood chapel, with Rabbi Mordecai Simon of the Sons of Jacob Synagogue officiating. Burial will be in the Jewish cemetery. Mr. Weissman died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at Allen Hospital of a coronary attack.

He was born Jan 6, 1887, in Mechopai, Russia, came to this country in 1913, and to Waterloo in 1914. He was married in Russia in 1913 to Molly Schoenberg, who preceded him in death in 1956. He married Belle Yusim in Chicago in 1957.

Mr. Weissman was associated with his sons in the Weissman Iron & Metal Co. of Cedar Falls, and in the Weissman & Sons Corporation of Waterloo.

A member of the Sons of Jacob Synagogue, Mr. Weissman was a member of B'nai B'rith, and of the Zionist organization.

Survivors are Mrs. Weissman, two sons, Joseph Weissman, 400 Derbyshire Rd., and Sidney Weissman, 1005 Prospect Blvd. Eight grandchildren also survive.

His parents and several brothers and sisters preceded Mr. Weissman in death.

The family requests that flowers be omitted. Friends may instead make a contribution to the Sons of Jacob Synagogue, or to any charity they may choose.
