Mrs. Michael Reddin, 73, of 428 Conger street, died Wednesday at 8:30 p. m. in St. Francis hospital of complications following a lingering illness since the first of the year.

Born Annie Winifred O'Connell on June 25, 1872, at Clinton, la., she was the daughter of John and Margaret O'Connell. She lived with her parents on a farm near Lamotte, la,, until her marriage there on Sept. 30, 1902.

The couple came to Waterloo following the marriage. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church and of the Rosary society of the church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Martha Pins, Grand Rapids, Mich., Mrs. Laurette Albrecht, 1033 Home Park Boulevard, and Mrs. Margaret Reidel, 428 Conger Street; two
stepsons, Melville, Dubuque, la., and Earl, Cogswell, N. D.; one stepdaughter. Mrs. Ethel Bush, Cudahy, Wis.; one brother. Joseph O'Connell, Dubuque; three sisters. Mrs. Laura Dunn, Lamotte, and Miss Clara O'Connell and Mrs. Joseph Reddin, both of Dubuque, and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, who died in infancy.

Funeral services are tentatively set for Saturday morning. Details are incomplete. The body was taken to O'Keefe & Towne Funeral home.
