ELK RUN HEIGHTS - Debbie Jo Flege, 51, of Elk Run Heights, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn., of natural causes.

She was born May 29, 1956, in Waterloo, daughter of Richard E. and Joelette Berg Flege. She was a graduate of Columbus High School and attended Ellsworth College, and was employed at Covenant Medical Center as an OB Tech. for 12 years.

Survivors include her mother, Joelette of Elk Run Heights; two brothers, Kent Richard (Karen) of Cedar Falls and Richard Louis (Julie) of Reinbeck; two sisters, Keline Lynn (Jack) Bright of Independence and Karen Lee Sebesta of Elk Run Heights; and paternal grandmother, Glenys Flege of Waverly.

Preceded in death by her father, Richard; a brother, Daniel James; maternal grandparents, Jerome M. and Marie T. Berg; paternal grandfather, Louis C. Flege.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Waterloo, with burial in Harlington Cemetery, Waverly. Public visitation from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary rosary. Visitation also one hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
