CEDAR FALLS - Ann Patricia Tuve Fencl, 59, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born April 2, 1954, in Waterloo, daughter of Stanley Alfred and Jeanne Margaret Weber Tuve. She married Daniel Duane Fencl on April 12, 1986, in Waterloo.

She was employed as a registered nurse in the operating room at Covenant Medical Center for 40 years, retiring in March of 2013.

Survived by her husband; a son, Joshua (Kim) of Fort Bragg, N.C.; three daughters, Chris Hermansen of Cedar Falls, Amy (Chris) Lyons of Bettendorf and Kari (Andy) Moore of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren, Ashley (Spencer) Johnson, Zach (Kelsey Buchheit) Hermansen, Abbey Hermansen, Noah Hermansen, Allie Fencl, Breanna Fencl, Cerina Lyons, Deven Lyons, Aliah Fencl, Daniel Fencl and Jaclynn Fencl; three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Rayden and Audri; her parents of Waterloo; two brothers, John (Bev) Tuve of Parkersburg and Bob Tuve of Waterloo; three sisters, Mary Lawson of Waterloo, Joyce Tuve of Bloomington, Minn., and Jean (Everett) VanFleet of Geneseo, Ill.; and five nieces and eight nephews.

Preceded in death by a son-in-law, Troy Hermansen; her grandparents; aunts and uncles.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church, where there will be a 3:30 p.m. rosary service and 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Saturday at the church. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Ann was a lifelong member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She loved her family and friends, especially family gatherings including the cousins. She enjoyed traveling to Detroit Lakes, Minn., baking, photography and scrapbooking.
