Services for Mrs. Genevieve "Gene" Wilder, 79, of Atascadero, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, are pending in Atascadero.

She was born Feb. 21, 1907, in Waterloo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shannon.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Simmons of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Grace Dow of Evansdale; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.

She was graduate of East High School in 1925 and had worked for many years for the WCF&N Railway.
