Funeral services for John Kinniburgh, 84, pensioned Illinois Central employee and resident of Waterloo for the last 32 years, who died Thursday at 4:15 p.m. at his home, 126 Harrison Street, of a heart attack, will be held Sunday at 1:15 p.m. at the home with Rev. Thomas R. Niven, pastor of First Presbyterian Church officiating.

Burial will be made at Strawberry Point, Iowa following a brief service at the Franklin Chapel there, with Rev. Mr. Niven officiating.

Kinniburgh came to Waterloo in 1900 from Strawberry Point, where he had been engaged in the hotel business. He entered the employ of the Illinois Central as a workman in the tool room and remained with the company for 25 years.

John Kinniburgh, son of Hugh and Margaret Kinniburgh, was born May 27, 1848, at Three Rivers, Que., Can. He came to Iowa in 1876 and located on a farm near Strawberry Point, where he resided for 10 years before going into the hotel business. Kinniburgh married Josephine Miller at West Union, Iowa, Feb. 14, 1878.

Surviving are his widow, two daughters, Miss Della Kinniburgh, Des Moines, and Mrs. D. C. Anderson, 126 Harrison Street; one son, Charles Kinniburgh, 425, Logan Avenue, and two grandchildren.
