WATERLOO - Rosie E. Sisk, 68, of 1623 Rainbow Drive, died FriEday, June 24, 2005] at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born June 6, 1937, in Taylor, Miss., daughter of Robert and Estelle McCarter Sisk.

She formerly was employed as a dietitian at the University of Northern Iowa.

Survivors include: four sons, Melvin Sisk, Marvin Sisk, Stevie Sisk and Jermaine Bass, all of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Blanche (Joe) Andrew and Weltha Mae Sisk, both of Waterloo, and Ella (James) Mallet of Durant Miss.; five stepsisters, Doris Sanders and Lillian Jackson, both of Waterloo, Mary Menton of Des Moines, Olivia Jackson of South Sioux City, Neb., and Mary Draper of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Hayes Sisk of Waterloo and Robert Sisk of Milwaukee; and two stepbrothers, Freddie Jackson of Waterloo and Ira Golden of Long Beach.

Preceded in death by a brother, James Sisk; an infant sister; and a great-grandson.

Services: noon Thursday at Payne Memorial A.M.E. Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Sanders Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 1623 Rainbow Drive, where they will receive friends.
