Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Monday at Kearns- Dykeman Chapel for Mrs. Effasee Powell, 56, of Milwaukee, former resident of Waterloo, who died in Columbia Hospital at Milwaukee at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday.

Following services in Milwaukee, the body will be brought by plane to Waterloo. Friends may call at the Kearns-Dykeman Funeral Home after 4 p. m. Sunday.

She was bom in Durant, Miss., on Jan. 19, 1917*, the daughter of William and Arlena Fullilove Anderson. She was married to Andrew Powell. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Powell was employed by Allis - Chalmers in Milwaukee for 28 years, prior to her retirement due to a disability in 1970. She had resided in Milwaukee since 1937.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Adrain Davis of Milwaukee; one brother, Thomas Anderson of 403 Sumner St., and her stepmother, Mrs. Elmyria Young of 403 Sumner St.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
