Funeral services will be at 1:30 p. m. Monday at the Gibson Funeral Home of Carrollton. Mo., for Charles N. Meller, 74, of 1414 Cottage Grove Ave.. who was dead on arrival at St. Francis Hospital at 2:10 a. m. Thursday of a heart attack. Friends may call at Kearns-Dykeman Chapei from 5 to 9 p. m. Friday, after which the body will be taken to Carrollton.

He was born in Carrollton on March 5, 1899, the son of Omer C. and Anna Jackson Meller. He attended the Carrollton Schools, and on Jan. 18, 1921, he married Anna Lou Brotherton at Carrollton.

He came to Waterloo in 1913. Mr. Meller was a truck driver. He was employed by Geerling Feeds ami Buck Distributing Co. He also operated the R. & S. Truck Wash.

Surviving are one son, Thomas L. of Fremont, Neb.,; one daughter, Mrs. Melba Gash of 129 Block. St.; 11 grandchildren and, four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 1967; one son, one daughter, and two sisters.
