Mrs. Pauline Louise Gihring, age 58, died at 4:15 a. m. today at the home of her son, Ernst Gihring, 1715 Franklin Street, from injuries received Sunday when the auto in which she was riding rolled off a bridge near Hudson, pinning her beneath. She sustained internal injuries from which low vitality attendant upon advanced age would not allow her to rally.

She was born in Wurttemberg, Germany, Dec. 8, 1859*, and came to America with her parents as a child. She was married in 1887 at Dibuque to Emmanuel Gihring, who preceded her in death by eight years. Since her husband's death she had made her home at Readlyn.

She is survived by the following children: Ernst, Waterloo; Hugo, Ayrshire; Theodore and Lydia, Readlyn. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters, all of Waterloo: William and Conrad Wiedman. Mrs. Mary Klaus, Mrs. Mary Mahanke, Mrs. Anna Fowler and Mrs. Carrie Meintzer.

Funeral services wilt be at the home of the son, 1715 Franklin Street, at 1:30 p.m. Thursday and at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rev Henry Prekel in charge. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

*Her gravestone has year of birth as 1866 but the 1910 Fed Census and the 1925 IA, State Census both her "abt" 1860.
