Marlys B. Puhl, 71, of 2768 Edgemont Ave., died Monday, April 13, 1992, at Covenant Medical Center of cancer.

She was born Nov. 25, 1920, in Waterloo, daughter of Floyd and Lulu McGrath Igou. She married Andrew Puhl on Nov. 23, 1940, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Puhl was employed at Powers Manufacturing Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1979.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Luanne Puhl of Glendale, Ariz., and Kathy Scanlon of Waterloo and three grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Edward's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at O'Keefe & Towne-Grarup & Waychoff Funeral Home, where there will be a 7 p.m. parish vigil service.

Memorials may be given to the Oncology Unit at Covenant Medical Center, Cedar Valley Hospice or the Cancer Treatment Center.
