Mary Louise Hostetler, 75, of Waterloo, died Friday February 1, 2008, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born March 6, 1932 in Waterloo, daughter of Harrison and Ethel Johnson Hunt. She married Robert A. Hostetler December 4, 1953, in Waterloo. He died December 2, 1973.

Mary graduated from East High School and was employed as a secretery in the office of Rath Packing Co., and later with Covenant Medical Center for 20 years, retiring in 1997.

Survivors include two sons, Steve ( Diane) of Waterloo, Michael (Denise) of St. Paul, MN; two daughters, Pamela (Jeff) Patterson of St. Paul, MN and Lisa (Jeff) Mangrich of Princeton, IL; 13 grandchildren: Robert Hostetler, Rebecca (Jace) Miller, Brian Hostetler, Elisabeth Hostetler, Max Hostetler, Ellie Hostetler, Emma Hostetler, Annie Hostetler, Matthew Patterson, Mitchell Patterson, Melanie Patterson, Kayla Mangrich and Nathan Mangrich; four great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Kate, Allyson, and Jake Miller; one sister, Marjorie Hunting of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by one brother James Hunt.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Feb. 5 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway and for an hour before services at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
