Helen Lovell was born May 5, 1930, in Black Hawk County, Iowa, the daughter of Franklin and Alice (Diercks) Tribon. She graduated from Denver High School in 1947. On January 11, 1952, she was united in marriage to Leland D. Lovell in Maxwell, Iowa. He died January 9, 1970. She was employed as a time keeper at Rath Packing Company until it closed.

Helen is survived by her son, Kenneth Dwain Lovell of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Sandra Wenzel, Jennifer Dixon, Christopher Andorf and Isaiah and Joshua Lovell and great grandchild, Hailey Wenzel.

Helen died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at her home in Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Arthur and Herman Tribon and sister, Maxine Bennett.
