WATERLOO - Mary Lou Christensen, 74, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born April 26, 1933, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Julius and Myrtle Bibbar Wagner. She married Robert Henry Christensen Jr. on Dec. 28, 1954, in Waterloo. He died July 25, 1997.

Mrs. Christensen graduated from Waterloo West High School and was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Pete (Chris) of Windsor, Colo., and Gary (Cass) of Waterloo; four grandchildren and a great-grandson; and two sisters, Alberta (Willard) Baber of Hamilton, Mo., and Helen (Bob) Kennedy of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a son, James Robert; and a brother, Larry Wagner.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
