CEDAR FALLS - Enid L. Wilson, 97, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, of natural causes.

She was born June 19, 1916, in Union County, rural Lorimor, daughter Ernest and Grace Cook Cornelison. She married Ronald G. Geisler on Oct. 23, 1937, in Missouri; he died July 19, 1964. She later married Ralph "Red" H. Wilson on Nov. 8, 1968, in Cedar Falls; he died Feb. 27, 1999.

Mrs. Wilson graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1933, and retired as executive secretary in 1981 after 25 years at the Waterloo Community Schools Administration Building. She was a member of Orchard Hill Church, and went on three mission trips to Michigan’s Camp Geneva with “Care and Connect.” She and her husband Ralph were members of Brain Injury Alliance of Iowa.

Survived by two daughters, Barbara J. (Dave) Kepple of Waterloo and Judith (Jerry) Stealy of Cedar Falls; a son, Ronald (Michalle) Geisler of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Michael (Stacy) Grapp, Marty (Paula) Grapp, Todd (Shelli) Grapp, Gregory (Lisa) Geisler, Dan (Sue) Geisler and David (Sara) Stealy; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Leonard Cornelison of Pueblo, Colo.

Preceded in death by a stepson, Michael Wilson; a grandson, Jeff Stealy; and two sisters, Leah Larrabee and Vera Mullins

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Orchard Hill Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo.

Memorials may be directed to Orchard Hill Church, 1215 Elmridge Drive, Cedar Falls 50613 and Cedar Valley Hospice Home

Enid enjoyed fishing at their place in Northern Wisconsin; playing bridge, reading, crocheting, swimming and golfing. She was an avid fan of the Hawkeyes. She also taught swimming lessons many years ago at the swimming spot on the Cedar River.
