CEDAR FALLS - Martha "Marty" Amelia Mikesell, 53, of Des Moines, formerly of Cedar Falls, died at home Wednesday, March 16, 2005.

She was born Oct. 6, 1951, in East Lansing, Mich., daughter of Gren and Hope Andrews. She married Larry F. Mikesell, and he died in 1999.

Mrs. Mikesell graduated from Roosevelt High School, Des Moines, and received her bachelors degree from Drake University.

Survivors include a brother, Christian (Mariah) Andrews, and four sisters, Laurie (Dana) Rosendahl, Home (Jeff) Goldsmith, Emilie (Joe) Warren and Elsa (Christopher) Martin.

Preceded in death by a brother, Cushing.

Memorial services: 1 p.m. April 10 at Dunns Funeral Home, Des Moines.
