WATERLOO - Janice Ann Hunt, 85, of Waterloo, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2005, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born Aug. 30, 1928, in Waterloo, daughter of Clifford M. and Emma H. Farley McCraney. She married George William Hunt on Feb. 27, 1947, in Topeka, Kan.; he died April 28, 1998.

Survived by four sons, Bob (Betty) and David Dean, both of Perry, and Clifford (Rose) and William (Connie), both of Cedar Falls; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and a sister, Judy Thomas of Spring Valley, Minn.

Preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Vernon “Bud,” Frank, James, Robert and Milton McCraney; and four sisters, Eunice Crow, Betty Deahl, Joan Goodin and Winona Merrill.

Services: 11:30 a.m. Monday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
