LYNCH, CHAPIN, TILLER, SNOW

Sunday morning at six o'clock Mr. George Lynch, passed.away at his home three and a half miles north east from Cedar Falls.

He was seventy-five years old, and one of the old settlers of Black Hawk County, coming here from near Galena, Illinois, in the early sixties. He settled at once on the farm which has ever since been his home and where he died.

The funeral will be held at his residence today at one o'clock and burial will be made in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

Mr. Lynch had had a lingering illness, having been sick for between two and three years. For several years his son-in-law, Thomas Tiller, has lived on the place and taken charge of the farm. Much sympathy is expressed for the sorrowing widow.

The children who survive are: John Lynch, from near Manson, Calhoun County, Iowa, who with his wife have been here for a week, helping in caring for the sick father; Mrs. E. H. Chapin, who ives on the adjoining farm; Burr Lynch, in the same township; Mrs. Thomas Tiler, on the home farm and Mrs. Charles Snow, from near Manson, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Snow came in time to attend the funeral.
