CEDAR FALLS -Rosalie Clara DeVoll, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

She was born July 14, 1932, in New Ulm, Minn., daughter of Willard and Margaret Callanan Friederich. She married Alvin DeVoll on June 7, 1952, in New Ulm; he died Oct. 18, 1981.

Survived by two sons, Alvin W. Jr. of Wellsburg and Ronald (Blanche) of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Noreen (Tim) Earls of Waterloo, Bonita (Jerry) Ford of Iowa City and Anita (Jerry) Schroeder of Center Point; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Eugene (Marie) Friederich of Le Mars, and Arnold (Sharon) and David (Sonja) Friederich, both of New Ulm; and a sister, Kathleen Hempel of New Ulm.

Preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Danny, John, Willard Jr., Robert and Bernard Friederich; and a great-grandchild.

Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Ulm, with burial in New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with a 4 p.m. rosary service. Visitation also an hour before service Thursday at the church.

A memorial fund will be established.
