WATERLOO- Robert Lee Carlson, 55, of 1130 Columbus Drive, died at home Thursday, March 30, 1995, of cancer.

He was born August 20, 1939, in Hallock, Minnesota, son of Bertil and Olga Baker Carlson. He married Darlene F. Matthews November 32, 1959, in Hallock.

Mr. Carlson was an insurance agent with American Family Insurance Co. for 27 years, and was president of the Waterloo Optimist Club in 1993.

Survived by his wife; a son, Jeff of Cedar Falls; three daughters: Jody Rasmussen of Wellsburg, Jeri Cole of Minneapolis and Joni Morgensen of Hudson; and eight grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Oppold-Hagarty Funeral Home, where there will be a 7 p.m. prayer service, and an hour before services Monday at the church.
