CEDAR FALLS -- Fay Eugene “Gene” Graham, 77, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

He was born July 28, 1936, in Sioux Rapids, son of Maynard and Jeane Schuler Graham. He married Jane Donaldson on Feb. 3, 1962, in Waterloo.

Mr. Graham graduated from Waterloo East High School and the University of Northern Iowa, earning a degree in marketing. He worked as director of buildings and grounds for the Waterloo Community Schools, and then held the same position with the Cedar Falls Community Schools. He also was involved with the Iowa Schools Buildings and Grounds Association.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Jodi (Deb Hubert) Graham of Crystal, Minn.; a son, Greg (Kim) of Minneapolis; a granddaughter, Ellerie of Minneapolis; a brother-in-law, Gary (Sandy) Donaldson of Waterloo; a sister-in-law, Charlene (Glenn) Beckman of Waterloo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a sister, Donna Smith; a sister-in-law, Rajeane Rube; and a brother-in-law, Roger Rube.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Timothy's United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Service, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
