WATERLOO - Sheryl Marie Knudsen-Pringle, 45, of Waterloo, formerly of Coulter, died at home Monday, Sept. 9, 2013.

She was born Nov. 3, 1967, in Iowa City, daughter of Bryan and Shirley Knudsen of Coulter. In October 1996 she married Daniel Pringle and they later divorced.

She graduated from CAL Community School in 1986, and then received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, in social work in 1990. She worked at Bremwood, Waverly, and later at Comprehensive Systems, Charles City. Much of that time she was in charge of the Black Hawk County branch.

Survived by her mother; a brother, Bryce (Teresa) Knudsen; and her former husband.

Preceded in death by her father; her grandparents, Bryan and Lena Knudsen and Frank and Esther Foster; and special friend, Chad Niichel.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Coulter, with burial in Coulter Cemetery. Woodley Funeral Service LLC, Iowa Falls, is in charge of arrangements.
