BRANIGER, SHAULIS, BANNISTER

Funeral services for Charles D. Braniger of Janesville, la., 77, who died at 6:15 p. m. Friday of carcinoma, will be at 1:30 p. m. Monday at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home. Rev. Spencer Gentle, pastor of the First Brethren church, will officiate.

Mr. Braniger was born Dec. 4, 1872. in Millersville, O., the son of Jacob and Lucretia Braniger. He came to Iowa as a young man and married Mary Alice Shaulis in September, 1902. They settled on a farm in Orange Township and later moved to Mt. Vernon Township. He had been in ill health during the past two years.

Preceding him in death were his wife in 1916 and a daughter, Mrs. Robert Bannister, who died in 1948.

Survivors include two sons, Harry Clell of Cudahy, Wis., and Delbert, 323 East 11th Street; three daughters, Wilma, 520 West Fourth Street, Pearl of Iowa City, Ia., and Gladys of San Antonio, Tex.

Burial will be in Orange Township Cemetery.
