WATERLOO - Marion F. Chambers, 79, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 12, 1928, in Hartford, Kan., daughter of Louis A. and Helen F. Hoyt Hurndon. She married Robert "Glenn" Chambers on Sept. 12, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo. He died July 22, 2003.

Mrs. Chambers worked as a head cashier at Allen Memorial Hospital, retiring after 35 years of service.

Survivors include two sons, Guy (Maxine Cole) of Waterloo and Robert G. (Linda) of Oregon; three daughters, Connie Blanchard, Debbie (LeRoy) Boldt and Christine Chambers, all of Oregon; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Butch McGee; two sisters, Betty and Elise Hurndon; and a brother, Frederick Hurndon.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Garden View Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today and for an hour before services Tuesday at the chapel.
