WATERLOO — Mitchell G. Hoffman, 19, of Cedar Falls, died at home Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013.

He was born June 16, 1994, in Waco, Texas, son of Christopher G. and Vicky L. Taylor Hoffman.

Mr. Hoffman attended River Hills, Cedar Falls, and was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. He also participated in the local Special Olympics

Survived by his parents, of Waterloo; a brother, Tristan of Waterloo; a sister, Meredith Hoffman of Waterloo; maternal grandparents, Marie Taylor of Oxford; and paternal grandparents, Glen and Celeste Hoffman of Dunkerton.

Preceded in death by his grandfather, John Taylor.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Edward Catholic Church, followed by cremation. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home, with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 6:30 p.m. vigil service.
