WATERLOO — Albert L. Berg, 47, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at Allen Hospital.

He was born Nov. 13, 1965, in Waterloo, son of Don and Alene McBride Berg. He married Debby Rhodes, and they later divorced.

Mr. Berg had previously worked in maintenance at the Extended Stay Inn.

Survived by a daughter, Dessa (Jason) Lawless of Waterloo; a son, Matt of Waterloo; two grandchildren; his mother of Ackley; a brother, Paulie (Diane Koile) of Eldora; and a sister, Angela (Flabio) Valderrabano of Ackley.

Preceded in death by his father.

Services: 2 p.m. Friday at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel, preceded by an hour of visitation, and followed by cremation.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
