Services for former Waterloo resident Miss Abbie Probasco, 83, recently of Edgewood, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Appleton Funeral Home in Edgewood. She died Saturday night at Edgewood Convalescent Home.

She was born Sept. 24, 1890, in South Dakota, the daughter of Joseph and Edna Spencer Probasco. She lived in Waterloo and worked for the Department of Social Services here, retiring during the 1950s,

Surviving are three brothers, Herbert of Tulsa, Okla., Harley of Iowa City, and Elbfert of Apache; Junction, Ariz.; and two sisters, Mrs. Olive Overboil of Black Mountain, N. C., and Mrs. Esther Thome of Thermopolis, Wyo.

Friends may contribute to the Grace United Methodist Church memorial fund in her name.
