Cedar Falls — C. B. Boehmler, 65, route 1, Cedar Falls, died suddenly at his farm home seven miles northeast of the city at 3 p. m. Wednesday following a heart attack.

He was a lifelong resident of the community and was a charter member of the Black Hawk County Farm Bureau. He was a member of First Methodist church.

Clarence Bishop Boehmler was born Apr. 4, 1879, on a farm near Cedar Falls, the son of Jacob and Mary Boehmler. He married Mary Bessie Byers at Des Moines Mar. 16, 1909.

Surviving besides his widow are two daughters, Genevieve and Jeanette. One son died in infancy. Also surviving are two sisters, Miss Maude Boehmler, of Cedar Falls, and Mrs. Del Moore, Charles City, and one brother, Earl, Fayette.

His father and mother, one sister, Bertha, and one brother, Bernard, preceded him in death.

Services will be held at Dahl's Funeral Home Friday at 2 p. m. with Dr. H. Hughes Dill officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Fairview Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
