BESH, BRUMBLE, CRAWFORD

Services for Mrs. Minnie M. Besh, 85, of 517 Home Park Blvd., will be at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday at the First Methodist Church: Dr. Fred Miller, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery [Waterloo]. Mrs. Besh died at 7 a. m. Sunday at Allen Memorial Hospital of complications due to advanced age. She had entered the hospital Saturday afternoon.

She was born in Bremer County March 5, 1874, the daughter of Stephen A. and Harriet Crawford Brumble. She was married to Sanford C. Besh March 18, 1896, in Bremer County. The couple farmed near Denver and moved to Waterloo in 1921.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church, W.C.T.Y., and a charter member of the Altrurian Sunday School class of the First Methodist Church. Mrs. Besh taught school in Bremer and Black Hawk Counties before her marriage.

Survivors include two sons, Charles R. Besh of Denver and Theodore Besh of Geiger, Ala., three daughters: Mrs. Floyd W. Lee of Mesa, Ariz., Mrs. Ernest E. Wheeler of 383 Sheridan Rd., Mrs. Victor J. Keul of Tracy, Minn.; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Besh was preceded in death by her husband in 1928 and two sisters.

Memorials may be given to the First Methodist Church and the East Janesville Methodist.

Friends may call at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home until noon Wednesday.
