CEDAR FALLS - Services for Marvin J. Buck, 77, of 1916 Hawthorne Drive, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Parrott & Wood Chapel in Waterloo with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo. Mr. Buck died Monday morning at Americana Healthcare Center.

He was born Oct. 11, 1906, at State Center, son.of Ralph A. and Dolly Johnson Buck: He married Lucyle M. Koqntz Oct. 14, 1932, at Waterloo.

He was a self-employed barber, having barbered in Waterloo for 56 years. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Richard R. Buck of Bellevue, Neb.; four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; and a sister, Mrs. Cecil Powell of North Canton, Ohio.

Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to services Thursday at the funeral chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to Sartori Memorial Hospital or Americana Healthcare Center in Waterloo.
