Funeral services for Mary Etta Miller, 89, who died at the home of her son, Glade E. Miller, Route 1, Orange Township, Wednesday, evening, will be at 2:30 p. m. Saturday at the Church of the Brethren, Sixth and Wellington Streets.

Mrs. Miller had been ill for some time and died from complications due to advanced age. Rev. Spencer Gentle, pastor, will officiate at the funeral and burial will be in the Orange Township Cemetery. The body is at Kearns Garden chapel.

She was born Jan. 24, 1862 in Orange township, the daughter of Jonas Flickinger and Caroline Berkley. On Dec. 31, 1884, she was married to Elias Miller in Orange township. She spent her whole life on the Orange Township farm where she was born except for three years in Springfield, Mo.

She was a member of First Church of the Brethren.

Survivors include four sons: Earl J. of Elrose, Saskatchewan, Canada; Guy G. of 904 Hammond Avenue; Paul F. whose farm is located along West Fourth Street, and Glade E. Miller, Route 1; two daughters, Mrs. W. H. Brown of 517 Campbell Avenue and Mrs, John Lawson of Altoona, Pa.; a brother, J. W. Flickinger, of Tracey, Minn,; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and her husband on Sept. 25, 1949.
