WATERLOO —Donald Burns, 55, of Tulsa, Okla, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Sept. 29, 1995, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

He was bom Feb. 29, 1940, in Brethren, Mich., son of Bert and Grace Bums Sr.

Survived by his wife, Maude May; two sons, Donald Jr. and Andre; three stepsons, David, Cedric and Warren Graves; a stepdaughter, Gloria Hamer; five brothers, Bert Jr., Norman, Alfred, Kenneth and Phillip; a sister, Eleanor Burns; and four grandchildren and nine stepgrandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Grace; and a brother, Duane.

Services were Oct. 6 at the Church of the Brethren, with burial in Brethren Cemetery, both in Brethren. Terwilliger Funeral Home, Kaleva, Mich., was in charge of arrangements.
