Frank E. Letts, 66, of 710 Walnut St., died Tuesday at about 6 a. m, at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of carcihoma.

He was born April 21, 1895, the son of Edward and Minnie Fay Conrod Letts, at Dundee, Iowa. He married Eva Harris in 1954 at Mo line, Ill.

He was employed for 24 years by the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works, retiring in 1956. He recently was employed by the Wheeler Motor Co. He served in the Army during World War I. Mr. Letts was a Methodist He was a member of Aerie No. 764 of the Eagles..

Survivors include his wife, two step-daughters, Mrs. Joe Morales, Oelwein, and Mrs. Leo Oren, 728 W.Park Ave.; two stepsons, Lynn Mishler, 627 Kirkwood Ave., and Glenn Mishler, Clarion; two brothers, Wesley Letts, of Nelson, Wis., and John Letts, Dubuque; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Masters, Lamont and Mrs. Fred Brownell, Nelson, Wis.; and 14 step-grandchildren.

His parents, first wife, Emma, and one brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 Thursday at Oppold Funeral Home, with the Rev. Floyd Hinshaw, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating.
