HARRY HAMILTON KILLED.

Young Man Who Left Waterloo a Few Months Ago Met Accidental Death

Harry Hamilton, who was for a considerable time the driver of the delivery wagon of George Frank & Son, was recently killed near Elk City, Oklahoma, by the accidental discharge of a revolver.

He was the son of James B. Hamilton, a traveling man, who at one time resided at 705 Jefferson Street. The family moved from here about a year ago and now reside at Robinson, Ill.

Harry had gone to Oklahoma to prospect, but a letter written a few days before his death stated that he would soon start for home.

The accident which caused his death took place on Sunday, Aug. 22, at about 8 a. m. He picked up a revolver belonging to another young man, and twirled it in his fingers, supposing it was unloaded, and then tossed it to the owner. As the weapon reached the hand of the young man to whom it belonged it was discharged, the bullet passing through Harry's throat. The injury was not immediately fatal and he lived until 2 o'clock Monday morning.

The news of his death reached Waterloo through a letter from the boy's mother to Cliff Carey, who was an intimate friend of the deceased. He was taken to Robinson, Ill. for burial.
