Funeral services for Al E. Schilling, 68, of 901 Wisner Drive, who died at 12:15 a.m. yesterday at Sartori Hospital. Cedar Falls, of carcinoma, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Church in Cedar Falls.

Friends may call at Oppold Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today. Rosary services will be said at the funeral homa tomorrow at 4 p.m. by the Rosary Society; at 8 p.m. by the parish and at 8:30 p.m. by the Knights of Columbus.

Born Oct. 15, 1899, the son of Joseph and Margaret Quinn Schilling at Lowell, Ohio, he married Rose M. Merz at Columbus, Neb., May 11, 1925,

He owned and operated Schilling Jewelry Store in Cedar Falls for the past 13 years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cedar Falls, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, Horological Guild of Northeast Iowa and Iowa Watchmakers Association.

Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. James Beck of Rt. 4, and Mrs. John Gilbert, Groton, Conn.; three sons, Richard D., of 2549 Airline Highway, Howard of Tipton and Francis (Hank) of Rock Island, Ill.; 14 grandchildren, one brother, John, of Lowell, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Clem Huck of Beverly, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, two brothers.
