Ermyl R. Ludemann was born August 22, 1912 in Beaman, Iowa, the daughter of Benjamin H. Rowe and Blanche Crombie Rowe. She was graduated from Beaman Consolidated School and from Iowa State Teachers College.

On June 14, 1938, she was united in marriage to John A. Ludemann of Ackley, Iowa. For three years she taught in Webb and Albert City, Iowa. She substituted for several years in the Cedar Falls Public Schools.

Ermyl was a member of the Cedar Heights Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women & Dorothy Laurie Circle, 50 yr member of Eastern Star, and Chapter B.T. of TTT.

She is survived by two daughters, Jane Edwards of Burlington, Iowa and Ann L. Trulin of Englewood, Florida; grandchildren, Erik Trulin of Warrington, PA, Sigrid T. Corcoran of Englewood, Florida, Kyle Edwards of Burlington, Stephane Duca of Holiday, Florida; and great grandchildren, Matthew & Andrew Corcoran, Sophie Edwards, Brian Smith and Tyler Duca.

Ermyl died Monday, December 10, 2007 at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers, Keith & Miller Rowe.

Memorial Services: 11 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2007 at Cedar Heights Presbyterian Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to be sent to Cedar Heights Presbyterian Church.
