Death of Benjamin Ikenberry

Benjamin Ikenberry died Wednesday afternoon, March 10, at the home of his son Harvey, near Greene, Iowa. Deceased was born August 13, 1811, in Preble County, Ohio, and was 85 years 6 months and 25 days old at the time of his death. Nine children were born to them, of whom John C., of Garnavillo, Harven, of Greene, and Mrs. Sarah Sturtz, living in South Dakota, are living.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, in the Dunkard Church in Orange, conducted by Rev. Lichty, of Waterloo, and were largely attended. Interment took place at Orange Cemetery.
