WATERLOO - Lucille A. McIntee, 97, of Waterloo, died Friday, June 1, 2007, at Friendship Village Medical Center.
She was born June 28, 1909, in New Hampton, daughter of John W. and Emma Schanfeld McIntee.
She was employed as a secretary at John Deere for 32 years, retiring in 1972.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Waterloo Woman's Club, Waterloo Gardening Club, Floral Study Club, Covenant Auxiliary and was also a church organist at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years.
Survived by a niece, Nancy (Richard) Smith of Des Moines.
Preceded in death by her parents; and a sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and John Paul Jahn.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be 4 p.m. Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary. Visitation also for an hour before services at the church on Tuesday.
