Mrs. Sophie Elizabeth Wunder, 56, of Route 2, died Sunday at 3:45 p. m. at St Francis Hospital of a heart ailment and complications.

The daughter of Herman and Wilhelmina Ruschaupt, she was born Nov. 7, 1891. at Mt Olive, Ill. She was married to Henry Wunder July 21, 1907, at Staunton, Ill.

Mrs. Wunder was a resident of Black Hawk county the past 35 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Her husband and brother preceded her in death.

Surviving relatives at Staunton, Ill., include her mother; a brother, William Ruschaupt, and three sisters: Mrs. Louise Wolf, Mrs. Anna Wolf and Mrs. Charlotte Sievers.

In Waterloo two sons and four daughters survive. They are: Raymond, Route 2; Alvin, Fairbank, Ia.; Mrs. Hedwig Rose, 1526 Logan Avenue; Frieda, Christine and Juanita Wunder, at home.

The body is at Kearns Garden Chapel.
