MRS. MARGARET SAUL.

A Waterloo woman found dead in her home Thursday evening apparently, had succumbed to a heart attack Wednesday, County Medical Examiner Dr.. Paul T. O'Keefe ruled.

The body of Mrs. Margaret R. Saul, 70, of 1517 W. 11th St., was taken to the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home, where funeral services are planned for next Tuesday. Mrs. Saul was found by a daughter, Mrs. Violet Utsler, 316 French St.

Mrs. Mead* was born May 13, 1891, at Flagstaff, Ariz.; the daughter of Fred and Betty Roden Berry. She was married to Hugh H. Saul at Canyon City, Tex., on March 4, 1907. They farmed near Elma for about 19.: years, farmed in Orange Twp. for a time and moved to Waterloo in 1943. She was a member of the So. Waterloo Church of the Brethren, and was a past president of the Waterloo Gold Star Mothers' Club.

Survivors include three sons: Thomas, of 15 Faber Rd.; Hugh, 3311 Lafayette Rd., and James, Rt. 4; four daughters: Mrs. Violet Utsler, 316 French St.; Mrs. Richard Jacobs, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Howard Pontious, Ft. Knox, Ky. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Albert Osborne, Ft. Sumner, N. M., a brother, Perry Chapman, South Gate, Calif.; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Her husband, parents, son Alvin, one step-son, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home after noon Saturday.

Funeral services will be at 1.30 p m. Tuesday at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home for Mrs. Margaret Saul, 70, 1517 W. 11th St., who died Wednesday.

The Rev. Clarence Sink, pastor of the South Waterloo Church of the Brethren, will conduct the service. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Saul, who died of a heart attack, was found Thursday by her son, James Saul, Rt. 4, not a daughter as stated incorrectly in Friday's Courier,

In addition to those listed in Firday's article, Mrs. Saul is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Mildred Moss of Monrovia, Calif.

Note: Researcher Kathleen Needham has Margaret's maiden name spelled Barry instead of Berry. Margaret Ruth (Barry) Saul.
